Film Columbus and the Columbus College of Art & Design announce their 2022 scriptwriting workshops and competition.
The workshops will introduce all teen participants to the screenwriting process through two workshops held in March and April. The workshops and competition are free for teens ages 13-17 living in Franklin County and the surrounding contiguous counties.
The workshops will be taught via Zoom and will provide the basics of screenwriting including format, character development and story arc. Industry professionals will lead the workshops.
After the workshops, the teens are encouraged to submit a 3-5 page script. Industry professionals judge the scripts, and CCAD film students will produce the projects in their Fall 2022 Film Collab Class.
Spots are limited. Please register only if you are committed to attending both workshops.
