Do I need to purchase a drop spindle before class?

No, your class fee includes the use of a drop spindle during class and the fiber that you will spin. You are welcome to purchase a drop spindle in the Beginning Spinner Kit as an add-on to the class, or purchase a drop spindle after class for $17.50.

Do I need fiber arts experience to participate?

No, any experience you have with fiber will only be enhanced by the skills that you will learn during this class.

What is included in the Beginner Spinner Kit?

The Ashford Student Drop Spindle, 1 oz of 100% Alpaca roving, and 1 oz of wool roving (either 100% Corriedale, or Merino/Silk blend) is included in the kit.
