If you are starting a business with an IP (preferably a patent or potential patent) and want to learn more about applying for grants with NSF, DOE, NIH, or others, please consider this program. This program is only for those ready to start the commercialization process.

FIAP 2.0 offers a unique opportunity to submit to PFI/SBIR/STTR grant funding, enhancing your research and academic pursuits.

  • FIAP 2.0 consists of 3 sessions (online) provided by our TXST FIAP/I-Corps facilitators, Weston Waldo + Jana Minifie
  • Session 1: How to find the right grant for you. Homework: Before Session 2, email the grant guidelines to facilitators Weston Waldo and Jana Minifie.
  • Session 2: How to meet the requirement of the grant proposal: Commercialization, Next Steps Forward, Budget, etc.
  • Session 3: Teams present their executive summary. Feedback is provided for the next steps.

Dates: Wednesdays, 2 - 5 pm, 6/26, 7/3, and 7/17
