About this event

  • Event lasts 3 hours

FFTT continues its community reading series with Wicked: The Untold Story of the Witches of Oz, the seminal 2003 musical from Stephen Schwartz and Winnie Holzman.

Tickets are first-come, first-serve, with a capacity of forty-five. If you sign up as a reader(/singer), you will be sent a link to a Google Form, which you must fill out in order to receive your casting for the evening. Roles will be split up according to song, a new tradition invented to ensure equitable airtime for all participating attendees!

All our events are free to the public. Donations are welcome, and are reinvested in our upcoming season to help better platform the work of our collaborators.

Frequently asked questions

Am I guaranteed a character in the reading?

If you sign up for one of the "Reader" ticket slots, you will be cast as a role in the reading. If you'd like to opt out, grab an "Audience" ticket. After "Reader" slots are sold out, they will be unavailable unless cancellations occur. Email us at foulfiendtheatretroupe@gmail.com to waitlist.

Do I have to bring a script?

Digital librettos will be provided, alongside karaoke tracks. If you need a physical script for accommodation needs, let us know in advance. We will not be providing sheet music. Come familiar with the material.

Will I get to select my character and will I know in advance?

Casting is done by Foul Fiend and will be announced at the event! You will have the chance to indicate your vocal part and song interest in the Google Form you will be sent upon registration.

Will I be singing a cappella?

We will be using karaoke tracks!
