Description

A Father Friendly Provider Network Training

This interactive workshop focuses on the father's role in promoting their child's healthy brain functioning. Participants will learn about the importance for fathers of understanding brain development, the concept of "Father Absence," and high quality methods, strategies, and techniques fathers may use to support children's healthy brain development and school readiness.

3 Continuing Education Units are avaialble for a fee for RNs, LMFTs, LCSWs, LEPs, LPCCs.

A complimentary lunch will be provided.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Participants will be able to:
  • List the 3 High Quality Practices for Fathers to support children's brain development
  • Explain the term, "Father Absence," and its impact on children's brain development
  • Describe why it's important for fathers to understand children's brain development

Who should attend a Father Friendly Provider Network Training (FFPN)?

The Father Friendly Provider Network is a co-ed learning community made up of staff from diverse disciplines serving children 0-5 and their families who are committed to providing services that are father friendly.

Is my registration for CEUs transferrable?

No. CEUs payments are not transferrable.

Is there a cost for this training?

No cost to attend the training. The cost for Continuing Education Units is $15.

What is the refund policy?

Full refund if registration is canceled 5 days before the training. After that date, no refunds given.
