<A TARGET="_blank" HREF="http://www.floatawaycommunity.com/" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Floataway Community</A> will continue its bi-annual Friday celebration series with a community block party on May 6 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Sponsored by Fox Building Company, Hamilton State Bank, “Festive Friday” welcomes the community to partake in a fundraising event for <A TARGET="_blank" HREF="http://nickelbottomgarden.com/#/" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Nickel Bottom Community Garden</A>, complete with live entertainment, an artistsan market and complimentary food and beverage.
With a suggested donation of $5, guests will enjoy live music by local Atlanta artists, complimentary libations from Abita Beer and Georgia Crown and nibbles donated by several area restaurants including Alon’s, Floataway Café, Double Zero, Pig N’ Chik and Bhojanic, among others. Guests are also invited to stroll through the vibrant artist and merchant market complete with local vendors such as Meleigh Jewelry Designs, Big Daddy Biscuits, Banjo Cold Brew Coffee, Briafcliff Animal Hospital, Furniture Bank, Garnish & Gather, Market Linen, Peachy Buckeye Designs, Polaris Performance Training, South Fork Conservancy, State Farm, Whole Foods and Third Half Studios. Performers from the Imperial Opa Circus will dazzle and amaze the whole family with an aerial show, fire-breathing tricks and other daring circus acts. The evening will also include live music by Caroline and the Ramblers and a silent auction with proceeds benefiting Nickel Bottom.
