Frequently asked questions

Does my child start Prep in 2025?

All children born between 1 July 2019 and 30 June 2020 are eligible (and encouraged) to start Prep in 2025.

What should I do if I (or my Kindy Program)believe that my child isn't ready for Prep in 2025?

We strongly encourage you to make contact with our school to discuss your concerns. Our experienced team, in partnership with your fabulous Kindy Team can work together with you to work out a solution that is best for your child and start working towards that BIG transition.

We are a little bit nervous about our child starting Prep. What can we do to feel better prepared?

This is a normal feeling, particularly for first time parents. We strongly encourage that you get organised and prepared as early as possible. Participate in a many 'Experience' and 'Orientation' Days as possible and start building those relationships and connections with our school and staff.

Are we allowed to come and visit the school?

Absolutely! We have a wide range of opportunities for families starting in Prep to attend our school to build those connections. From play days, to 'Experience' days, to school events and 'Orientation' Days. We also have 'Kindy Connect' Sessions we run in partnership with our local Kindy Programs.
