Join Us for the FemTech Designathon!

We’re excited to invite you to the FemTech Designathon — a one-day workshop exploring user-centred design (UCD), UX/UI, and design thinking for better women's health products and services. Drawing from research in healthcare innovation and digital health, the event will give participants the opportunity to learn how to design and evaluate new and existing products and services, and to tailor them to women’s health needs.

Our guest speakers/lecturers will be:

🎙 Meric Sevgi Erin (Founder & Brand Strategist) on the history of design and product development

🎙 Dr Christiane Hagel (Postdoctoral Researcher & President of Oxford FemTech) on designing digital health tools with and for the end-user using UCD, UX, UI, and design thinking

🎙 Genevieve Steele (Director of Client Value & Strategy at Finastra) on turning great ideas into real-world impact through marketing strategy

In the afternoon, participants will have the opportunity to apply their skills to (re-)design a FemTech product or service. After pitching their results, the winning team will be awarded £100.

Thanks to the generous support of Oxford EnSpire, we’ll keep you fuelled with catering throughout the day.

This session is for anyone passionate about making FemTech and healthcare solutions more user-centred, effective, and equitable for women. We can't wait to see you there!
