Boise Festival Celebrating Women, Movement, Mindfulness & STEM. Popups, DJ, Log Sawing, Drones, Krav Maga, Anxiety Workshops, Yoga & Dance!

Boise&#x27;s first FEMSTEM festival celebrating movement, mindfulness and STEM. Presented by Idaho Women in Technology and Womeness Community featuring main stage events, pop ups, and speakers. This interactive event will start with sunrise yoga and will feature speakers including an interactive keynote Dr. Satyavani Gayatri, &quot;The Gift of Anxiety.&quot;Pop up clinics to play and learn: Idaho Rock Hounding 101. Drones &amp; Physics. Krav Maga self-defense. Hiking safety 101. Highland Games Stone Throwing. Log Sawing. Fiddling. Safe strength training kinesiology tent. Ayurvedic and breath work workshops. Sword Dancing. Knot tying. Higher conscious collective tent. Breath work to heal. Live DJ. Incredible Speakers and Educators on hand to help you try new things, connect to inspiring women, and feel empowered! The iWIT Girl Scout Leader of the Year Award will be given at this event. Girl scouts and leaders are encouraged to attend and be honored for your service to our community. Schedule:8am sunrise yoga, registration 7:45AM (bring a mat) 8:30am General Registration9:00am Mainstage Events Begin 9:00am-1:00pm Party in the Park Award for iWIT Girl Scout Leader of The Year (Time TBD) Prizes throughout the dayThis event is donation or free, RSVP Required. Donation optional. We do not want cost to be a barrier to attend this exciting event, so please select FREE ticket and join us if you do not wish to donate! YOU BELONG.Breakfast and T-Shirts featuring STEM Rosie will be available on a first come, first serve basis. Participants must sign release wavier in order to participate in the mainstage and popup activities. We want to provide a safe an inclusive environment. Some of the activities are physically challenging, participate at your own risk. Idaho Women in Technology and Womeness want to empower you to get outside, explore mindfulness, to make STEM more accessible and to make your world bigger every day.
