About this event

Ableton Live is an incredibly powerful and versatile tool that enables beginners and advanced users alike to dive into the details of music production. Join us for an introductory workshop where you will learn the basics of this industry-standard tool through skill-sharing and discussion. Attendees are welcome to follow along by downloading a trial version of Ableton Live, however, we will also have a few "typical" music production setups for folks to experiment with during the second half of the workshop.

The workshop is held on Saturday May 25th at Heavy Manners Library, located at 1200 N Alvarado St Unit D, Los Angeles, CA 90026. Tickets are $10 but no one is turned away for lack of funds.

This event prioritizes all marginalized genders, including but not limited to trans women, cis women, trans men, non-binary, intersex, gender nonconforming, two-spirit and questioning folx. We ask that our cis male allies and friends respectfully do not sign up, as we recognize that electronic music is overwhelmingly dominated by cis men.
