FemFest

The Women’s Student Assembly (WSA) is one of eight assemblies withinProgram Board– a branch of theUndergraduate Student Governmentat USC. WSA was founded by women who sought to create change around issues that women faced. Inspired by feminists and powered by students, WSA works on and off campus to address feminist issues, to engage the community, and to empower those oppressed by the patriarchy. We welcome people of all gender identities who experience some form of sexism.

<DIV>Spritely, The Unending Thread, Minimall, Niña Dioz, Gypsum, MUNA, Chastity Belt.<BR><BR><BR>Event starts at 5:30pm in E.F. Hutton Park! (the bowl by annenberg) <BR><BR>FemFest is about creating safe(r), welcoming and comfortable spaces for everyone. This festival is about providing an alternative to the sexist hetero/cisnormative campus culture, to introduce students to radical politics and to our space, to take space within our community and to encourage a more intersectional feminist identity within our community. <BR><BR>Speaking of building a community we want to everyone to have the opportunity help create FemFest. We will have different art stations around the venue with booths with arts and crafts! There will even be a whole damn art gallery. We are trying to create a giant community art project! :)<BR><BR>Put on by your friends at the USC Women's Student Assembly and the USC Performing Arts Committee!</DIV>
<DIV><BR>FAQ <BR><BR>Who can attend this event?<BR>Everyone with valid ID/Eventbrite confirmation<BR><BR>Can you elaborate?<BR>Yes - USC students can enter by showing their student ID. Non-USC guests must RSVP through eventbrite and show their confirmation w/ ID. YOU MUST RSVP or you will not be admitted.<BR><BR>Am I allowed to enter and exit the park during FemFest?<BR>Yes, so long as you have your wristband.</DIV>

<DIV>Yes. Food can be obtained with your meal ticket given to you upon entry. Food will be served until food runs out.</DIV>

<DIV><BR>What can’t I bring? <BR>NO drugs/paraphernalia or alcohol of any kind <BR>NO weapons of any kind <BR>NO drones <BR>NO loud noisemakers of any kind <BR>NO professional cameras, video cameras, or audio-recording devices <BR>NO chairs of any kind <BR>NO laser pointers <BR>NO backpacks or large purses/bags of any kind <BR>NO skateboards or bicycles <BR>NO outside drinks or containers holding liquids of any kind<BR>NO outside food<BR><BR>What should I bring?<BR>A willingness to dance and enjoy the vibez.</DIV>
