Join us for a guided beginners felting workshop where all materials are supplied, and all money raised will help animals at our shelter.

About this event

Join local felter Julie Koch and spend the afternoon getting creative!

During this small beginners workshop you will:

Discover the basics of felting
Learn about different types of wools and fibres
Try out some techniques
Create your own small needle felted picture
Create a simple 3D felted animal (jellyfish, mouse, penguin or seagull).

All materials and guidance will be supplied along with light refreshments.

Who is Julie Koch?

Local supporter of Little Valley and experienced hobby felter who has recently launched a business making her own wool. Julie is kindly sharing her skills by running beginner workshops.

Where is this workshop taking place?

On-site Little Valley Animal Shelter based on the outskirts of Exeter nr Ide/Dunsford Hill (EX2 9TA).

Is there parking?

Yes there is limited parking available.

What does the cost include?

All materials supplied by Julie along with tea, coffee and cakes throughout the workshop. The cost also includes a donation to Little Valley Animal Shelter.

What facilities are available?

Parking is located out from of the building. The workshop room is accessible by stairs or lift. There are toilets next to the workshop room and refreshments will be available.

Can I get a refund?

Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds or ticket transfers.
