Slighe nan Gaidheal’s mission is to teach and disseminate to the general public the Scottish Gaelic language in its contemporary and historical context through classes, performances, and the encouragement of its routine use.Since 1997, we have built a dynamic and active membership base and grown into a lively, welcoming community of language-learners, musicians, singers, dancers, historians, artists, storytellers, and Celtic scholars.

Join us at The Evergreen State College August 13-18, 2019 in Olympia, the capital of Washington State.  Nestled in the middle of a 1,000-acre forest, The Evergreen State College is just a short ride from downtown Olympia.  Féis Seattle will bring together a thriving community of Scottish Gaelic language, music and culture with presenters from Scotland.
