FREE INFORMATION SESSION for New Jersey Educators, Lawyers, and Community-Based Organization Staff Using Federal Anti-Discrimination Laws to Protect English Learners - Thursday, March 14th, 2024, 4:30 - 5:30 PM

This webinar is for educators, lawyers, and community-based organization staff who work with English learners and/or parents/guardians of English learners in New Jersey public schools.

Senior Civil Rights Counsel Kelly Florio and Assistant U.S. Attorney Emily Goldberg will discuss:

  1. The role of the Civil Rights Unit (CRU) in enforcing federal anti-discrimination laws
  2. The CRU complaint process – how to file, relevant time frames, and what to expect
