This webinar is for educators, lawyers, and community-based organization staff who work with English learners and/or parents/guardians of English learners in New Jersey public schools.
Senior Civil Rights Counsel Kelly Florio and Assistant U.S. Attorney Emily Goldberg will discuss:
- The role of the Civil Rights Unit (CRU) in enforcing federal anti-discrimination laws
- The CRU complaint process – how to file, relevant time frames, and what to expect
