Frequently asked questions

Are there any requirements to take this class?

You must have a valid Driver's License and a current Advanced TTC Certificate to take this class and be eligible for the exam. The day of the test must be before the date of expiration.

What technology do I need to take this class?

All students must have their own computer (no sharing). The camera & microphone must be on at all times and you will need high-speed internet access to effectively use this format of education.

What if my certificate expires soon?

You must take the class and pass the exam before the date your current certificate is set to expire. If your certificate expires or you fail the test, you will need to take the full ATTC class again to be eligible to take the exam again.

What if I have an Temporary Traffic Control certificate?

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) requires state-specific Temporary Traffic Control (TTC) certification by FDOT approved training providers for traffic control work in Florida.
