FDACS Website Workshop
Having trouble navigating the FDACS website to apply for exams, renew your license, or find relevant CEUs? Stop by our workshop for help!
If you are a new or existing pesticide applicator in Florida, your required certifications are granted through the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS).
On April 1, 2025, FDACS switched to a new website and user portal. This open-ended workshop is for those who are experiencing the following challenges:
- Creating an account
- Determining the right certification/license for a new job
- Applying for an exam voucher
- Scheduling exams in-person or online
- Renewing a certification/license
- Paying invoices
- Finding CEU programs for renewal
Stop by anytime during this 2-hour, open workshop. There will be a few laptops available for use, but if you have your own, please consider bringing it. The Master Gardener Volunteer Plant Clinic will also be available at the library for diagnostic help from 1:30 - 3:30 pm.
Instructors:
- Jackie Lebouitz, UF/IFAS Extension Sarasota County, Chemicals in the Environment
- Tracy Calla, UF/IFAS Extension Sarasota County, Commercial Horticulture
This walk-in workshop will take place in the Frances T. Bourne Jacaranda Library meeting room.
Time: 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Advance registration is required. Please register for this event ONLY at ufsarasotaext.eventbrite.com rather than any third-party websites, as they are not affiliated with our classes and events.
