Description

Creating Compassionate Community

With God, we are invited to use our own creativity, in the various forms it takes, to co-create beloved community.

The beloved community calls us to pay attention to the last, the lost, and the least, to recognize the creative gifts that each person brings.

Each gift is important, each creative contribution is necessary to make the body of Christ whole (1 Corinthians 12).

During our 2018 women’s retreat, we will explore and develop our creativity together, led by Deborah Streeter, founder and facilitator of Thinking Brain Arts, and the daughter of our own Elizabeth Wolf.

There will also be opportunities for worship, small group workshops, playful fun with old and new friends, and solitude and rest.

The location for the retreat is Mercy Center in Burlingame, a beautiful and comfortable setting for our time together. Learn more about Mercy Center at http://www.mercy-center.org.
