Fastelavn Workshop

Scandinavia House was created by the American-Scandinavian Foundation to be the leading center for Nordic culture in the United States. It offers a wide range of programs that include exhibitions, film series, concerts and other performances, readings, lectures, language courses, and activities for kids.

<P>Sometimes called “Nordic Halloween,” the holiday Fastelavn originated in Denmark. On this day, children dress up and go from door-to-door, singing for candy. Join us for a celebrationwith dress-up, traditional games, goodies, and songs. This event is suited for children ages 3+.</P>
