FashionBar Chicago is excited to offer TWO Summer Fashion Camp 2024 (Morning and Afternoon).

Instruction: FashionBar’s FashionCamp is hosted by CEO, Tony Long of FashionBar LLC who has Fashion Business and Consulting experience.

This FashionCamp is designed for middle school and high school students.

Workshop for Students 10-18YO

Who is eligible to register?

Students who have an interest in Fashion Design. This amp will include a variety of courses that cover introductory to advanced fashion design and all the work involved in completing a collection and producing a fashion show for your family and friends. This Fashion Camp is for students ages 10yo to 18yo to help improve their creativity in the business of fashion and design.

Fashion Camp will teach students the fundamentals of the fashion industry by providing an insider’s perspective on how to prepare for a career in fashion design, fashion blogging, fashion marketing, and the overall fashion industry. Fashion Camp is hosted on the following dates:

Date: AUGUST 21ST TO AUGUST 25TH 2024

Times:
Morning 10AM 1PM (Age 10 to 14)
Afternoon: 2PM – 5PM (Age 15 to 18)

The final exam will be to execute a Fashion Show at Water Tower Place (Level 3) for family and friends scheduled for AUGUST 25th, 2024 at 3pm. Each student will receive our signature Fashion Camp Tee Shirt, supplies for the course and refreshments during each session.

Business of Fashion
How Fashion applies to your life
Drawing illustrations
Creating custom printed fabrics
Creating simple patterns
Use color pallets
Meet and Greet designers
Meet and Greet hair and make-up artists
Meet and Greet professional models
Meet and Greet photographers
Selecting models
Branding with hair and make-up
Press and Media
Buyers and Consumers
Production set-up and break-down
Final Exam: Execute a fashion show at Water Tower Place on Sunday January 7th, at 3 p.m.
About Fashion Camp:

Our summer fashion programs for middle school & high school students allow the students to work as a collaborative team, honing their creativity to ignite and grow their interest in fashion design.

Fashion Camp also includes a variety of hands-on creative projects with various workshops, developed for different skill levels.
