Farming While Black is an award-winning documentary which examine the historical plight and hopeful future of Black farmers in the USA.

This screening is being co-sponsored by the Chattanooga Food Forest Coalition, the Alton Park Development Corporation, the Sierra Club Cherokee Group, Buttonbush Farm, Southeast Tennessee Young Farmers, and Chattanooga DSA.

Participants are encouraged to bring food and drink to share- we'll have some things on hand fresh from our gardens but the more the better!

Parking is available behind and beside the Chattanooga Civic Center building, you will follow the signs to the entrance and inside to the screening area.

After the screening we will tour the gardens and urban farm attached to the Civic Center, weather permitting!
