About this event

A visit to the farm means meeting and interacting with many different types of animals. Learn about where they live, what they eat, what they do during the day and at night and some fun facts about each one. You'll get to feed the animals snacks (that we provide), pet animals and learn what their fur, feathers or fleece feel like. You can sit on a bench and let them come to you, or get down on the ground to view the world from their level. We will take our cues from the animals on the day of your visit and that will determine the interaction and activities...each day is different! Unlimited Photos, cuddles and fun! Wear clothes that can get dirty, and footwear that can get muddy too! Bring your sense of adventure and you'll have a great time!

We have an approved list of foods/snacks that our animals enjoy that you can bring with you. You may be able to feed some during your visit and we might need to save the rest for later. You must ask before giving any animal any food that you bring in with you because of each animals special diet.

Approved Foods: Cheerios, Apples, Bananas, Romaine Lettuce, Carrots (with tops or without), Dandelion Greens, Kale, Peas (Fresh or Frozen), Watermelon, Grapes, UN-Salted Peanuts in the Shell.

Monetary donations of any amount are always welcome in person or online via venmo to @sandimaki or PayPal sandimaki@gmail.com. We also do have use for certain things like dog houses, kennels, cages and the like. If you have something you'd like to donate, please just ask and we'll let you know if we could use it! We always need clean egg cartons!

If you have or know of an animal that needs a new home, we consider animals on a case by case basis. We can also suggest other places that may be able to help.

During a farm tour you'll get to meet, interact with, and feed animals (donations of fresh produce are always welcome, though we will have food and snacks on hand for your visit). Depending on the time of day of your visit it could be feeding animals their meal, a snack, or collecting eggs and other farm related activities. Wear clothes that can get dirty, and footwear that can get muddy/dirty like tennis shoes or hiking boots. Open toed or dressy shoes are not recommended. FAQ: Bring yourself, and your camera/cell phone - leave everything else in your car. For the animals safety: no strollers/small items/toys/stuffed animals, no purses or bags. No outside food or drink- as the goats and chickens will try to steal it from you!
