*We currently have a yearling highland cow and baby Jersey cow as well currently!
Follow us @flowertowncharm to see what babies we have at the farm!
Come snuggle and learn about the friendliest goats in the Lowcountry! You will get up close (literally in your lap if you want) at our urban farm with our super friendly dwarf goats and their friends; fancy chickens, barn cats, big farm dogs, huge fluffy bunny, bee hives, and giant tortoise! Pretty much all of our animals can be pet, snuggled, & are very friendly! You can interact with them as we let you know about each animal here; what they eat and provide, and what care they need. Or we can leave you be and you can just "free range" and play with silly animals! This is a very casual time to learn or spend some loving time with friendly farm animals with no fences! The amount of people at each snuggle varies, from 1-30 people, everyday is different, we keep it low so everyone can have time with the animals.

Our urban historic farmhouse and mini farm is located in Summerville, SC. Summerville is a historic town about 30 min outside of Charleston. Many folks are surprised with our mini-farm being in an urban setting. We are unique because this city was built up around our 1870's farmhouse.
Want more than an hour with the animals? Come stay with us at our 1870's Farmhouse Farm Stay
We are closed Mon & Tues.
THINGS TO KNOW:
We ask you wear close toes shoes, bring water or drinks if you wish, and you may bring cut up apples or carrots to feed the animals (just keep in mind they will jump on ya for food, they all turn into pigs, lol. But once the food is gone they will go back to being sweet and just want to be pet and loved on).
Please don't arrive more than 15 minutes early, we sometimes have back to back events and want every guest to have their time with the animals.
*IMPORTANT: PARKING is limited here at "Flowertown Charm" and is designated for disabled or overnight staying guests. Please ONLY park at the neighboring church in the basketball court parking lot at 255 Stallsville (Loop) Rd. DO NOT park at the endodontics parking lot or the main church lot, they will tow you. After you park at the church basketball lot, walk to our farmhouse on 225 Stallsville (Corner of Stallsville & Long Needle Lane), look for a Historic White House with Red shutters and Black Fountain with a white Goat Sign out front. Use the white gates on the left side of the house with the farm sign to enter the farm yard. Please close and latch gates behind you. We will come greet you when you arrive!
Frequently asked questions
We will most likely reschedule the class as goats HATE the rain! We usually will make the call 12-24 hours in advance and will reach out to guests via the email they registered with if we do cancel and reschedule. If you cannot wait that long please email us jenna@flowertowncharm.com to refund.
We try to have baby goats born every Fall & Spring! Follow us on social media for updates! @flowertowncharm
YES! For a farm snuggle session we charge the same pricing as above, but require a minimum of $100 to make it private.
Our experiences are completely outdoors and in the grass, with a few stepping stones to go over from the front to the backyard. Our home also has stairs and we have a tiny bathroom that isn't very handicap friendly. We have had folks in wheelchairs and walkers attend before, it just depends...
Yes we do, although they are in a separate area from our guests area, bring a Epi-pen if you are allergic please.
NO! Our animals will get spooked and not want to mingle with guests. Also our farm dogs will protect our animals and want to guard them and cause a lot of frustration
No outside human food is allowed, but you can BYOB. You can also bring sliced carrots or apples to feed the animals!
