Farm Lot 59: Farm Tour and Garden Workshop

Nature enthusiasts of all ages are invited to attend our farm tour and garden workshop, co-hosted by Farm Lot 59 and Ground Education, two nonprofits rooted in Long Beach with missions that focus on the environment, learning, and sustainable practices.

Participants will be guided around our local urban farm to learn about Farmer Sasha Kannos's sustainable vegetable and flower operation, the unique history of the site, as well as the history of local land development and the significance of the Port of Long Beach. In addition, Ground Education educators will be sharing garden activities suitable for all visitors.
