Do you love the Barry Sisters? Theodore Bikel? Remember a Yiddish lullaby your grandmother used to sing? Join us for an afternoon of communal Yiddish singing with Lea and Rabbi T and wish them well as they embark on their next adventure. No expertise is necessary, everyone is welcome! We will sing together, schmooze, and reminisce about the greatest Yiddish hits and undiscovered treasures. And always be ready to shake your tukhes!

Tickets: $10 with sliding scale options available. No one turned away for lack of funds; contact boxoffice@minnesotajcc.org or 651.448.7472 for financial assistance or more information.

Lea Kalisch is a Swiss Jewish international touring actress and singer. Some know her as the "Eshet Chayil of Hip Hop" or in her alter ego REBBETZIN LEA. She performs a variety of concerts in the Twin Cities, on the East Coast and across Europe. She's worked with the National Yiddish Theater Folksbiene, has starred in multiple OFF-Broadway shows and locally at Six Points Theater. She is honored to be a Jerome Artist Fellow 2023-25 and make her first film this summer in Argentina. Rabbi T is a rabbi at Temple Israel in Minneapolis, a musician on YouTube and busking on the streets. Together they play in Jewbalaya, a local New Orleans Jazz Klezmer fusion band, which is releasing their first album this June!
