We ask that each agency/organization bring to the event items to share with families that attend. Share with them info that tells them who you are, what you do and how families can access your resources/services.
Event will be set up for you to just come in and set up your table so we ask that you arrive between 9 am and 9:30 am, so that you are ready to go by 10 am and we ask you to please wait till 2 pm to pack up your table, if at all possible.
There is currently no charge for table space, and tables will be set up for you. We do ask that each agency/organization please bring an item that we can place into a few prize basket for families - last time we had 6 baskets to give away as a prize and the families loved them all. We also request that each agency have some type of giveaway at their table for families and experience has shown that if you have an activity to occupy the child for a few minutes, helps give adults time to chat with you.
W e will have a few family activities set up as well:
- a photo fun area
- a reading corners
- colouring table and chairs
Families will be invited through varies social media and partnerships/agencies. When families arrive we will register them and give them a bag to collect resources and goodies from your tables. They will also receive a brochure with all the agencies in attendance as an extra resource for them when at home.
We hope to see you there - and please share with other agencies / organizations that might be interested. Agencies must have free services for families. Once your application has been received you will receive more info the week before the event.
Frequently asked questions
Is there Free Parking? Yes there is free parking at the mall. If you have a lot of items to drop off to your table - suggestion is to use the back entrance off loading area and then once you leave them at your table to then go park your car around front of mall. Map will be supplied closure to event
Each agency is asked to bring: * an item for the prize gift baskets that families can win with attendance at event * an activity that children can play with at your table, so that you can chat with adults while children play * take away resources * give away at each table - kid oriented
Yes please let us know if you would like a table at both events. We will be hosting these events twice a year. One in May and One in November. If you are not sure about November date, you can always come back to register.
