Learn the basics of Polaroid cameras and the fascinating process behind instant image development. Philadelphia-based photographer and educator Jaime Alvarez will guide you through the technical aspects while sharing insights into the artistic value of this unique medium.

In addition to the workshop, participants will take in the stunning photography on display in Enrique Bostelmann: Apertures and Borderscapes. These examples provide an opportunity to explore the broader world of visual storytelling and gain inspiration from a powerful artist.

Whether you’re a photography enthusiast or simply looking for a memorable family activity, this event promises enjoyment for all ages. Have fun exploring the medium, develop Polaroid images to take home with you, and enjoy The Super Mario Bros. Movie on the Berman Lawn after sunset.
