About this event

  • 1 hour 15 minutes

Create your very own macrame headband.

Learn macrame techniques to make a super cute headband. These headbands will add a lovely pop of colour to accesorise your hair, they are also great as little handmade gifts for friends and family.

You choose whether to make your macrame headband together or you can each make your own. There should be ample time to make more than one and there will be a selection of colours to choose from.

This is a family fun workshop where you can learn and create together. It will be a fun and relaxed space to try your hand at macrame crafting.

This workshop is ideally suited for children aged approx 6 years plus, it would work for slightly younger children if you are creating together. You know your child best.

All materials provided and no experience required - so perfect for beginners. I will guide you through.

Each ticket admits - 1 x adult and 1 x child.

If you want to bring more than one child per adult, please get in touch with me.

The Venue - Canvas Coffee Company is a calming and creative coffee bar and arts cafe, situated at the south side of Phoenix Art Space. Ramp access if required is via the Phoenix Art Space entrance.

Booking is essential as there will be limited spaces.

Since graduating in BA Hons Fine Art in Cardiff, I have developed my career as a freelance project manager and artist educator in a broad range of art education projects. I have worked for museums, galleries and other organisations for over 23 years including: Fabrica Gallery, Towner, Arts Council England and Creative Partnerships, Sussex and Surrey. I have a keen interest in promoting the arts to a wider audience and as a tool for creative expression and learning. The aim is also to empower and inspire individuals in their own creative process.
