Central Region adoptive parents and children are invited to join Children's Home Society of Virginia (CHSVA) and the Regional Post Adoption Consortium (RPACS) for a day of baseball at The Diamond. The Richmond Flying Squirrels will face off against the Reading Fightin Phils at 1:35PM. Recommended arrival time is 1:00PM.
This event is free for adoptive families living in the central region, and having an open post adoption case. This opportunity is provided to families for free in our service region thanks to our partnership with Virginia Department of Social Services.
May 19, 2024 is Disability Inclusion Day at The Diamond. The Flying Squirrels team up with Friendship Circle of VA to celebrate inclusion. The first 1,000 fans of all ages will receive a Inclusion Day rally towel while supplies last. Gates: 12:30 PM | First pitch: 1:35 PM. Following every Sunday home game kids ages 14 & under can stick around to run the bases!
