About this event

  • 3 hours 30 minutes

A fun afternoon of nature-based activities for our Jurassic Multicultural families in a beautiful field near Askerswell (10 minutes from Bridport), hosted by Thriving Wild.

We'll start by heading up to the top of the field for a picnic. After that there will be different activities to enjoy, with a break for campfire snacks and storytelling in between. Examples of things we may do: play games, look for butterflies, forage for wild ingredients, explore with a scavenger or treasure hunt, move blindfolded amongst the trees, get crafty, builld a Da Vinci bridge, learn a knot.... or simply just explore and relax! Whilst plans will change according to the weather, this will be a fun afternoon of nature-based activities for all the family rain or shine:)

Booking is essential as places are limited. It is one ticket per family (no need to book a ticket for each family member attending). Children must be accompanied by their grown ups; grown ups join in - everyone needs to play:).

We will send you some information before the event with directions and other useful info. Please bring a picnic for you and your family . A small donation of £3.50 per family is suggested, if you should wish, to bring along on the day. Let Harriet know if you need a place on the minibus from Bridport.

We look forward to welcoming you!!!
