Each ticket includes admission for one grown up + one kid*! You will share a baking table and work together to make the recipes.
In this "intermediate" level class, you'll...
- Practice making a flaky pastry dough by hand
- Use a rolling pin to roll out your dough... and learn about different pin options and even get to choose which style you try!
- Make a stove-top fruit jam filling
- Form and fill handheld "pop tart" style hand pies
- Learn lots of baking tips you can apply to other recipes
- Learn about the ingredients-- and more
- Meet and learn alongside fun folks
- And you'll take home loads of tender, flaky pastries you made yourself!
* Young participants must be at least 8 yrs old and accompanied by a grown up (18+). This is a Real Class and we'll teach real baking skills. This intermediate level class is a great fit for kids who already enjoy taking on baking projects and can easily stay engaged & follow detailed instructions for the duration of a 3 hr class.
PS. Is your "kid" a grown up? That's fine! Just know that this class is designed to include children, so don't be surprised by the vibe :-)

ABOUT MUDDY'S HANDS-ON BAKING CLASSES
Muddy's hands-on baking classes are in-depth AND fun! Class sizes are small so students have ample opportunity for guidance & questions. Your instructor will demonstrate every step of the recipe and be available as you try each step yourself.
Who should participate? Anyone looking to have fun, learn about baking, and build confidence in the kitchen! Please read above for age requirements.
Are classes wheelchair accessible? YES! Our tables are height-adjustable, so if you need special accommodations, just let us know ahead of time and we'll be sure to have the table and your spot all ready for you!
What about cancellations/refunds? Classes are small and space is limited, so all ticket sales are final. Please check the date/time carefully before booking. If you cannot make it to your class, you may gift your ticket to a friend.
