Family Birthplace Tour (Oconee Memorial Hospital)

Participants will enjoy an escorted tour of the Family Birthplace at Oconee Memorial Hospital. They will learn about Family-Centered Maternity Care, our visitor guidelines and Baby-Friendly birth practices.

Expectant parents will see one of our birthing suites planned for labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care including rooming-in with the newborn. Tours may also include a view of our level 2 NICU for specialized care of the newborn, when necessary. Registered participants will visit and learn about the care they will receive after the baby is born as well as the security measures in place to ensure their safety."
