Fall Mushroom Foraging In Seabrook, WA
Learn to forage for the best Washington coast mushrooms alongside the pros!
Meet Your Guides!
Seabrook has partnered with Michael, Pacific Northwest foraging pro and founder of Wild Spores & More, to offer guided mushroom foraging in and around Seabrook this Fall with his friend and fellow guide, Dan, owner of Conscious Collectors Cooperative. Some people may remember seeing Michael as a merchant at the Seabrook Saturday Markets, too.
Michael has been on the hunt for mushrooms throughout the Pacific Northwest since 2012. With Michael as your field guide, you'll receive a fun and educational orientation on mushroom foraging before venturing through the beautiful forests of Seabrook in search of a variety of mushrooms. Hello, golden-brown chanterelles!
Dan grew up in the Puget Sound and has been an avid outdoorsmen throughout his life. After a few serious skateboarding injuries, he transitioned his hobby into the less risky activity of mushroom foraging, along with gaining interest in other plants, trees, and other forest ecology. Almost a decade later into his journey of exploring fungi and forestry, Dan enjoys sharing and inspiring others with what he has learned. Check out more of Dan’s insight into the world of fungi on his Instagram, @dparnooch and @consciouscollectorscooperative.
