Join friends and neighbors from around Cambridge, MIT, and Kendall Square on Saturday night for music, delicious food, face painting, and more! FEATURING💫 Stargazing with <a href="https://astrogazers.mit.edu/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">MIT Astrogazers</a> (5:45pm-7pm)🎺 Music from <a href="https://flybybrassband.com/main/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Fly By Brass Band </a>and <a href="https://sites.google.com/view/annie-and-the-fur-trappers/home" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Annie and the Fur Trappers</a><a href="https://sites.google.com/view/annie-and-the-fur-trappers/home" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"></a>🚚 Food trucks with meals and treats for purchase☕️ Free hot cocoa and hot apple cider (while supplies last!)🎨 Face painting 🥏 Lawn games🌊 Sea Salt Scrub-Making (while supplies last!) 🫧ABOUT SEA SALT SCRUB-MAKINGMake your own sea salt scrub using essential oils in this fall-inspired workshop with educator and cosmetologist, Jada Alleyne! Scrubs are natural exfoliants that cleanse and soften skin. Recommended for ages 5+ and up. Young makers should bring an adult helper.<a href="https://soaphergirl.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Jada Alleyne</a> is the School Age Program Manager at the <a href="https://www.communityartcenter.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Community Art Center</a> in Cambridge. She has over a decade of experience as an educator and an extensive background in Early Care and Education. A former licensed cosmetologist, she created her own line of skincare and beauty products called <a href="https://soaphergirl.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Soap Her Girl</a>. When she’s not busy running a small business, working on curriculum plans, and keeping up with attendance records, Jada can be found creating art and dancing with her teenage daughter. All minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Responsible adults, please keep a close eye on your kids.Keeping us safe: This event will follow all MIT policies and Covid safety guidelines.
