Prospect Park Alliance

Join Prospect Park Alliance and NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital for a day of fun games and activities celebrating the local, seasonal harvest.
In spring, Prospect Park Alliance, with help from the public, planted a crop of vegetables in the Lefferts garden. Throughout the year, families helped water and care for these crops, and now is the chance to help us harvest this bounty. 
Celebrate the harvest with an afternoon of fun: 
<UL>
<LI>play croquet, cornhole and other lawn games on the Lefferts lawn; </LI>
<LI>help harvest our fall crop, then taste this bounty prepared in a vegetable stew cooked over the Lefferts outdoor hearth by our costumed interpreter; </LI>
<LI>join NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital to help prep and taste local seasonal vegetables, and bring home a recipe to cook with your family.</LI>
<LI>At 2 pm, enjoy harvest tales with veteran storyteller Tammy Hall. </LI>
