Fall Apple Fest

The Historic Village at Allaire is a non-profit, living history museum, located within Allaire State Park in Farmingdale, New Jersey. We manage and operate a 40 acre historic site, which includes a museum and multiple buildings from the 1800's. Our historic interpreters and guides provide visitors with a unique look at life inside an industrial village in 1836, and we host over 50 events each year. The Historic Village at Allaire does not receive state funding, and relies on grants, donations, memberships, retail sales, and fundraisers to help support our efforts to provide educational programming to the public.

THIS EVENT IS NOW SUNDAY, OCTOBER 1ST! The Harvest has been gathered and now it is time for the families of the Howell Iron Works to relax. Please join the villagers in celebrating the harvest and try your hand at apple cider pressing and our apple pie baking contest. Enjoy live animals, music, free glitter tattoos, a stilt walker, wood carver, strolling villagers, historic demonstrations, games and so much more! There will also be demonstrations of blacksmithing, carpentry, fiber arts throughout the day. Our Historic Buildings, Bakery (with lots of apple treats), and General Store will be open for you to visit.We will also be having an Apple Pie Contest this day.
