Fall 2025 SWE++ (Python Coding Lessons for Middle School Girls)
Overview
The University of Pittsburgh's chapter of the Society of Women Engineers invites middle school girls (grades 6, 7, & 8) to attend SWE++, a free 6-week course that teaches the basics of Python, a popular and easy-to-learn coding language. This program is a fantastic opportunity to introduce your child to coding (NO prior experience required).
The SWE++ program will be run by SWE engineering students on Sundays from September 14th to November 16th from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM in Benedum Hall.
The event dates are as follows: 9/14, 9/21, 10/19, 11/2, 11/9, and 11/16.
We hope to see your daughter at SWE++! When registering, please be sure the name on the ticket matches the name of the student registering for the program, not the parent (ONLY students need to register).
