Sports provides a critical service for all youth. At a time when New York City is struggling to bring sports back safely, let’s not forget the inequities that have existed for Black and Latinx public school students. Join Fair Play, youth advocates, and sports programs/entities from NYC and across the country for a conversation on the “State of Sports” to learn about the effect of COVID-19 on high school and recreational sports, how our collective advocacy can push city agencies to equitably re-instate sports, and how young people can use their voice to fight for sports equity.
