Most small businesses and startups fail, and that's okay. Failure Fest is a unique event that celebrates the entrepreneurial spirit and recognizes that trying and failing to do something important is better than never trying at all.At Failure Fest, we will hear from two entrepreneurs who have "been there" and "done that," having had both successes and failures. Chad Hatch, Partner at Bird Dog Equity Partners, will share the challenges and opportunities he and Paul Schock faced while launching The Prairie Club golf resort in Valentine, Nebraska. Clint Brown, Partner at Alluvio, will share about the successes and failures he had dreaming about, launching, growing and ultimately shutting down The Bakery, a co-working space that operated downtown on Main Ave. from 2015 to 2017.Remedy Brewing Company is brewing up a special beer for Failure Fest! "Hoppy Accident" is a brand new American wheat beer in creation right now, brewed with Sioux Falls local Cascade hops from Herds to Hops. This refreshing and approachable hoppy wheat beer is a celebration of small business, ups and downs included.
Hoppy Accident and Queen Bee beers from Remedy will be available at Failure Fest for free courtesy of Remedy Brewing Company.Failure Fest is a free event that will be held at the Museum of Visual Materials (500 N. Main Ave, Sioux Falls, SD) on January 9th from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Free appetizers will be provided, free Remedy beer, and a cash wine bar will be available. If you plan on attending, please RSVP on Eventbrite.This is a casual gathering for creators, dreamers, entrepreneurs, small business owners, startup founders, and anyone that has ever wanted to do something big.Thank you to our awesome sponsors!
