About this event

  • 7 hours 30 minutes

Join us at Georgetown's Calcagnini Contemplative Center for a one-day retreat. We will have the chance to reflect and engage more deeply with Georgetown's Jesuit and Ignatian values and tradition in a way that is open and accessible to all, regardless of religious affiliation.

A light breakfast with coffee and a full lunch will be served.

Transportation is via shuttle from DC (location TBA). The shuttle departs at 9am and returns by 4pm. If you need on-campus parking, you should work with your department to secure it.

There is limited space for parking at the CCC, so anyone who drives (maximum of six cars) must carpool.

There is no wi-fi and limited cell phone reception at the CCC; therefore, there is no virtual/remote option for the retreat.

What to wear/bring

  • Any toiletries or medical items you may require for a normal day.
  • Durable closed-toe shoes
  • A sweatshirt or jacket (it’s typically cooler at the CCC than in DC)
  • A journal to help you reflect
  • A reusable water bottle -and- your own mug for coffee/tea.
  • Anything you might want to bring for free, contemplative time (for instance, a book)
