Come out and explore how successful and emerging interdisciplinary collaborations can serve as a major catalyst in:

<LI>Advancing UofL’s state assigned metropolitan research mission</LI>
<LI>Addressing the strategies and objectives identified in the university’s 21st Century Initiative</LI>
<LI>Providing a new programmatic paradigm in the next phase of the Signature Partnership Initiative engagement with the west Louisville community</LI>
</OL>
 The symposium will also serve as a spring board for further discussion(s) on steps the university will need to take to encourage and support faculty participation in interdisciplinary engaged scholarship.
