Faculty Engaging with Disability Services: How should faculty and disability services work together?

Mr. Terry Watson, M.S., is a professional speaker and trainer who specializes in the topics of disability equity in education, racial justice, and law enforcement. Watson is currently the Assistant Director for Student Disability Services at Penn State World Campus and the founder of BWMP LLC. As the Assistant Director of Student Disability Services, Watson works closely with faculty, designers, and student-facing units. In this capacity, he helps shape practices, procedures, and policies to include individuals with diverse abilities. 
Maggie Kwok (she/her), M.Ed. in Counselor Education
Disability Coordinator, Student Disability Services
Penn State World Campus

Maggie Kwok, M.Ed., is a Navy Veteran (FMF Corpsman) who first started working with military/veteran students with disabilities at World Campus. With the growth of World Campus and the Student Disability Services office, she now works with all student populations and still specializes in the military/veteran population. As a Navy Corpsman, Maggie deployed twice: Guantanamo Bay and Iraq. After her military service ended, she completed her International Politics degree from Penn State and, while working at World Campus, completed her Masters in Counselor Education, also from Penn State.
