You’ve shared your thoughts about what successes you’d like to see in the 24:1 Community. Beyond Housing listened—and now it’s organizing a community conference to report back to you on what it heard and what’s happening as a result.
With the theme “Facing Our Today for a Better Tomorrow: Rising to the Call of Action,” the conference kicks off at 9AM on Saturday, Aug. 22, with an introduction to the “Community Vision Report 2020” by Beyond Housing CEO and President Chris Krehmeyer.
The first session is a discussion by civic leaders, followed by breakout sessions on the topics of economic development, housing, police reform, and education. Each session includes plenty of time for Q&A and opportunities for you to share your feedback.
The featured speaker is Cori Bush, the Democratic candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives in Missouri’s 1st Congressional District.
