Facilitator Training Program: Facilitating In-Person Meetings

Career success today often comes down to our ability to effectively lead a working group, conduct a meeting, or facilitate decision-making conversations. However, while this work makes up the backbone of much of our day-to-day work, few of us have any training in how to do it well.

Training Resources Group (TRG) created the Facilitator Training Program to address that need. TRG is a recognized leader with decades of experience facilitating impactful, inclusive, and enaging conversations. Through our Facilitator Training Program, we share our experience to help you hone your skills to effectively design and facilitate group processes and discussions to support your own work.

Through our program, you’ll practice the design and facilitation skills you need to lead in-person meetings. Specific program topics include core facilitation skills, agenda design, and participatory decision-making. By the end of the program, you will have:

• Assessed your Facilitation IntelligenceTM and identified areas of growth.
• Developed a meeting agenda including formats and tools relevant to the context and that supports meeting objectives.
• Facilitated and produced a meeting using a prepared agenda.
• Received constructive feedback to support your continued growth.

This training will take place in-person at TRG offices over the course, of three days: August 13-15 from 9:00am - 5:00 pm ET each day.

The registration cost includes course participation, course materials and light snacks.
