A Collaborative Series of Workshops & Exhibitions by Dr Lone Sorensen w/ BasementArtsProject/Longsight Art Space and Artist Parham Galamdar
Faces and Threads is a new project transforming research on climate change debates into art co-created with communities. Working with an artist, curator, and two community art spaces in Manchester and Leeds, the project captures the emotions behind online climate controversies often shaped by social media influencers. Together with marginalised groups frequently targeted by misinformation, the project creates and exhibits an installation that turns complex digital debates into tangible experiences. Local residents will be invited to take part in facilitated events, sharing their perspectives and contributing to analysis. Through collaboration, art becomes a space for dialogue, resilience, and community voice.
