Auburn Birthing and Parenting Workshop
Join us for the Auburn Birthing and Parenting Workshop, a five-week face to face series to support future parents as they prepare for the incredible journey of parenthood. Face to face workshop will also include a tour of the Birth Unit. Please book one ticket per couple only.
Workshop Details:
- Week 1: May 30th Friday 2-3pm
- Week 2: June 6th Friday 2-3pm
- Week 3: June 13th Friday 2-3pm
- Week 4: June 20th Friday 2-3pm
- Week 5: June 27th Friday 2-3pm
- Where: Auburn Hospital, Level 5 Room- confirmation of room will be emailed closer to the date
- Duration: 1 hour per session
These interactive workshops provide a welcoming space for parents-to-be to learn, share, and ask questions about key topics, including:
- Labour and active birth positions
- Natural and medical pain relief options
- Normal birth and medically assisted births
- Breastfeeding- First Hour
- Resources for help postnatally
Each session is led by experienced facilitators and offers opportunities for discussion, ensuring you leave feeling informed and confident about your parenting journey.
PLEASE NOTE:
You must be birthing your baby at Auburn Hospital to book into the workshop.
These sessions are covered by Medicare. If you are not covered by Medicare, you will be charged the associated fees. Please email WSLHD-AuburnBirthParentingWorkshop@health.nsw.gov.au for further information regarding fees.
