Face Mug Workshop
Create your own unique mug while enjoying your favorite beverage at Hugger Mugger on July 16th. Perfect for a solo venture or with friends!
Roll up your sleeves for this two day workshop where you will build and paint your own unique beer mug. On July 16th, Andrew will demonstrate the simple techniques that you will then use to create your mug. We will be using a technique called “slabbing,” so no pottery wheel experience necessary. All of the clay, tools and other materials will be provided for you so just bring yourself and maybe a friend to join in on the fun!
Once we’re finished, your one of a kind creation will need to dry for two days before being loaded into the kiln where it will cook at over 1800 degrees! On July 27th we’ll finish strong by glazing your mug and firing it again. They will be ready for final pickup on the 29th.
The price of the workshop also includes 2 beer tickets, which can be used for a beverage to enjoy while you work. So come on down and experience something new with us!
Cheers,
Andrew Wells
