We're glad you're here! At Happy Humanimals we create a community cuddle experience that is about self-discovery, connection, and play.
Overview
Happy Humanimals: Extended Play is a follow-up to our original Happy Humanimals event, Snugs & Connection, and we require that all participants have attended Happy Humanimals: Snugs & Connection in the previous two years. If you're interested in a communication and consent event like this, please look for next month's foundational Happy Humanimals event.
Extended Play is similar to Snugs & Connection, except that the opening circle is significantly abbreviated to include a short embodiment drop-in and an introductory circle, leading into 3 spacious hours of snuggles and other negotiated touch within the HH container and agreements, followed by the usual closing circle.
Our agreements include that all touch will be fully clothed, optional, nonsexual, verbally requested and granted, malleable or veto-able at any time. We encourage clear yesses and nos and asking for the things you want in this playful environment.
Facilitated by Ian & Anna Joy.

If you are feeling sick or test positive for COVID prior to the event, we are happy to offer a full refund. We do not require proof of a negative COVID rapid test to attend.
This event is sober and fragrance free. Please arrive free from fragranced deodorants, perfume, cologne, hair spray, body spray, smoke (this includes cannabis for medicinal use), and clothes that have been laundered with strong smelling detergents. Wearing unscented, natural, and mild deodorants are welcome and encouraged.
Wear or bring pajamas or comfy clothes. Think cozy, not sexy.
While this event is strictly platonic, we require all participants to be 18 or older.
Please note that Happy Humanimals events are not a therapeutic setting, and the facilitators are not operating in the role of counselors. If you have needs that would best be served by a mental health professional, we welcome you, but please do not consider this practice as a substitute for such care.
About Your Event Leaders
Anna Joy Reedy, SEP (she/her) in 2013 found herself in her first cuddle puddle on a dance floor being fed grapes by frolicking little fairies (children). Inspired to recreate this slice of heaven as often as possible and share it with the world, she completed the Cuddlist and Cuddle Party TM certifications along with a series of related trainings. She offers somatic 1:1 touch and trauma sessions; she has facilitated consent workshops in and around Seattle since co-founding Happy Humanimals in 2022. Learn more and work with Anna Joy by visiting her website.
Ian Wilson (they/them) is a cuddle and consent facilitator. They studied facilitation with Cuddle Party facilitators Madelon Guinazzo and Adam Paulman, and cofounded Happy Humanimals in 2022. Ian is a trained Cuddlist and continues this work in one-on-one client sessions. Ian is also a dancer, hiker, musician, artist, and creator. Learn more and work with Ian by visiting their website.
