The VB Strong Center and the Stars of HOPE cordially invite you for an opportunity to create a symbol of Hope in the transformative power of therapeutic art. This is a great opportunity for you, your family and loved ones, friends, colleagues, and others in the community to unite and create art to share to those that were impacted by mass violence incidents, veterans, individuals that loss a loved ones to violence, and someone that could use encouragement due to the cares and challenges of life.
The Stars of Hope USA organization is, a community partner with the VB Strong Center, and "aims to provide compassionate support for survivors of mass violence and disaster by nurturing both body and mind through the use of STARS as a canvas."
The purpose of this workshop is to offer a space for hope, encouragement, fun, and a time to give back. Participants will be able to self-explore, connect with others, creatively express themselves through art, and leave with a heightened sense of mindfulness, awareness and compassion for one's self and others.
There are TWO opportunities to participate in this workshop:
1st workshop is from 12:00pm-1:30pm
2nd workshop is from 5:30pm-7:00pm.
You are able to sign up for either time that works best for you and your needs. Registration is required. Seats are limited

• Stars of Hope USA will suppy supplies you only need to bring your self and a friend :)
