About From the Hip Photo:From the Hip Photo, Colorado’s best-reviewed photography company, was founded in 2007 by the husband and wife team of Danny and Nina de Zayas. Now a full-time team of four, From the Hip provides photography services for individuals, families, organizations, and businesses across the state and beyond with an emphasis on candid, creative images. Following the opening reception of Brian Napier: Crooked Timber, From the Hip Photo & Odessa join forces to bring artistic talent and makers together for Exposure!, a free ticketed event.
Exposure! is a series of events and releases curated by <A HREF="http://fromthehipphoto.com/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">From the Hip Photo</A>, Denver’s best-reviewed photography studio and <A HREF="https://www.odessadenver.com" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Odessa</A>, an artist founded, artist funded organization celebrating creative engagement and critical discourse in Colorado.
The event is designed to collapse boundaries and expose attendees to a cross-section of Colorado’s vibrant artistic community, encountering art, artists, and organizations whose paths they may not otherwise cross.
The 2017 kick-off, taking place at RedLine Contemporary Art Center on June 30th, will immediately follow the opening reception of Brian Napier: Crooked Timber and will include free beer from Ratio Brewery and wine by The Infinite Monkey Theorem beginning at 8:00 p.m.; a speed dating creatives experience with several of Denver’s local artists; a large scale projection of local 3-D and 2-D work ; and live music!
