Overview

The Dutch market alone is too small to sustain scalable immersive business models. For IX/creators who want to grow, internationalisation is not optional—it’s essential. EXPORT//EXPAND is a hands‑on workshop that helps you sharpen your international ambitions, test your readiness, and prepare for export. Together we’ll focus on four promising European markets: United Kingdom, France, Germany, and Belgium.

What are you going to do?

13:30–14:15 – Welcome & Framing
ROM + IMMERSE//ACCELERATE outline the opportunities and barriers of internationalisation. Introduction to the four focus countries and their key characteristics. ROM Utrecht Region presents concrete instruments: missions, funds, and networks. EIT Culture & Creativity adds European routes, relevant programmes, and matchmaking opportunities.

14:15–14:45 – Ambition Workshop
Participants map their international ambitions using a canvas, linking their propositions and use cases to the characteristics of the four countries.

14:45–15:45 – Scale‑up Play & Expert Case
Innomics shares lessons on scaling and internationalisation using the Scale‑up Play method. An experienced entrepreneur presents successes and failures from practice: what worked, what didn’t.

15:45–16:30 – Peer Feedback & Group Rotation
In small groups, participants give each other feedback on export strength, positioning, and market fit. Guided by ROM Utrecht Region and IMMERSE//ACCELERATE.

16:30–17:00 – Collective Learnings
We bring insights together, define next steps, and highlight opportunities for follow‑up.

IMMERSE//ACCELERATE is a impact‑driven acceleration programme that connects IX/creators with adopters across industries. Born out of CIIIC, the program supports supply and demand in the implementation of immersive experiences. Through workshops, experiments, and peer learning, we move beyond pilots and prototypes toward validated, scalable use cases.
